Women saw difficult times as miscarriages lead to charge in US

Women in the united states are at receiving end of tough abortion laws for quite some time. Now, they’re getting charged with manslaughter after having miscarriage. the development has attracted sharp reactions from many corners of the country. Some victims of these repressive rulings ar Brittney Poolaw, etc.

In January 2020, Poolaw was about four months pregnant when she lost her baby in the hospital. In this October, she was guilty and sentenced to four years in jail for the first-degree manslaughter of her unborn son.
The woman’s suffering began to loose her baby to a miscarriage and appears to be living with the conviction and jail term over the death of the foetus.

She isn’t alone, a 21-year-old Native american girl from Oklahoma was also guilty of manslaughter after having a miscarriage some time back.

The eye-opening plight of the girl has caught the eye of many people.

Some people noted that Poolaw was guilty during pregnancy loss awareness month in the United States, while some citizens compared it to Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel The Handmaid’s Tale.
