Let’s take a trip up to the Great White North this holiday season, or rather the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT, to try the Yukon Holiday Kitchen. Back again for the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, let’s see if this booth is as good as it was last year!

*NEW* Seared Scallops with Parsnip Silk, Apple Chutney, and Hazelnut Croquant – $6.00
The scallops themselves are tasty, with no grit—they’re tender and well-cooked. However, the apple chutney is way too sweet. It overpowers the dish, which is too delicate to stand up against the sweetness of the chutney.
*NEW* Beef Bourguignon with Crushed Potatoes – $5.75
The potatoes are really creamy, but there are some potato skins left in for a heartier taste. The sauce is very wine-forward, but has a good balance of sweetness. The beef is incredibly tender and fell apart, which was good. There are carrots in it too. We loved this dish. Jingle Cruise
Maple Bûche de Noël: Maple Mousse rolled in Gingerbread Chiffon Cake with Cranberry Sauce and Pecan Crumble – $4.50
With maple mousse rolled in gingerbread chiffon cake with cranberry sauce and pecan crumble, this isn’t only the best yule log we tried, but one of the best things we had at the whole Festival. Get it!
Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie – $2.50
The cookie offering here has a beautiful color and presentation with bright red & white spirals and green sprinkle cheer. While the cookie has a good peppermint taste, overall it’s just an okay cookie. Nothing stellar in texture or taste, but visually it covers the total Christmas cookie look.
Frozen Coffee – $4.50
The frozen coffee offering here was good. It has a smooth and creamy consistency, but nothing about it really stands out or makes it a must-try item.
*NEW* 81Bay Brewing Co. Maple Cinnamon Coffee Beer, Tampa, FL – $4.50 (6 oz) / $8.50 (12 oz)
Regional Icewine – $14.00
Regional Red Wine – $8.00
Frozen Coffee with Tap 357 Whisky ($31/bottle) – $11.00
The whiskey coffee found here in Canada has a strong taste, but it’s super smooth. For someone who usually doesn’t like whiskey, it surprisingly tasted great with the coffee. A definite winner at this booth.
